My cat, Oliver got out a few days ago at the 3000 block of Monument Avenue, & it’s freezing cold! He has a collar and tags. He has a small round name tag that reads “Oliver,” in addition to Veterinary tags. If found, please call (804) 874-6439. Thank you.
Driver fleeing police smashes pickup on Monument
According to state police, a trooper pulled the suspect over on Interstate 195 Northbound at Laburnum Avenue for reckless driving, and when the trooper approached the suspect’s 1994 Oldsmobile, the suspected driver sped off going south on the interstate- and then the chase ensued. Monument Avenue 10K runs on Saturday
The Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K is this Saturday, April 2, 2011. The race begins on Broad Street near Harrison Street, proceeds up Monument to near Willow Lawn and back, and ends on Franklin Street near Monroe Park. Expect crowds and awkward parkers.
