Fat Dragon Chinese Kitchen and Bar coming to Boulevard

EAT Restaurant Partners (Blue Goat,Osaka, Wild Ginger) are taking over Stronghill Dining Co. space. The new restaurant will be called Fat Dragon Chinese Kitchen and Bar, a “Chinese twist on farm-to-table,” according to EAT’s PR rep, Michele Graziano.

Robbery on Boulevard

Richmond police are investigating the robbery of a person in the 200 block of South Boulevard on Monday night. The victim was not injured. The robbers confronted the victim about 7:10 p.m. and did not display a weapon but gave an indication they were armed, said Capt. Yvonne Crowder.

Restaurateurs Randy O’Dell and Patrick Stamper, who just sold their ownership in Mezzanine, have leased the former Tri-Angle Book Store. Their plan is to convert the former Texaco station into an affordable, Calexican-style eatery.
